10 Wrestlers Who Still Have Something To Prove In AEW
9. Kip sabian
For British wrestling fans it was exciting to see one of our own in AEW’s first ever singles match at Double or Nothing, even if many of us had never heard of him before.
His dance partner that night Sammy Guevara was scooped up by Chris Jericho and gifted a role in the company’s top heel stable, going on to prove his worth again and again. Sadly Kip hasn’t been so lucky.
Where Sammy has become a pay-per-view staple, by the following year’s Double Or Nothing “Superbad” was reduced to a warm body in a battle royal.
It seemed as though Sabian was finally finding his groove in “The Superbad Squad,” before the speaking out movement removed his tag partner from the equation and Kip was left directionless again.
It seems as though the booking team still see something in Sabian but pairing him with their latest star signing has yet improve his fortunes.
