Who knew darkness actually had two sides? Luna Vachon fans, that's who.

Luna Vachon was billed as being from The Other Side of Darkness, which sounds a bit like a bad 90s metal band. However, despite being billed from a ridiculous location, Vachon was a bit of a trailblazer.

In an era when most WWE divas looked like super models, Vachon dared to be different. Her partially shaved head and over-the-top ring attire looked like something straight out of a Mad Max film. The gimmick actually worked; Vachon had a memorable run in WWE as well as various other promotions including WCW and ECW.

Luna Vachon's raspy voice, unsettling appearance, and aggressive style made wrestling fans a bit apprehensive about traveling to The Other Side of Darkness.
