10 Wrestlers Who Were Given Way Too Many Chances
Lack of talent doesn't always mean lack of opportunities.
Who Vince McMahon decides to hire for his company is often a bit of a mystery. No one can ever tell what is going on in that man’s mind. He went years without showing any interest in AJ.Styles, Finn Bálor, or Bobby Roode, and instead spent that TV time and money on people like Cameron, The Great Khali, and Snitksy.
Some wrestlers mysteriously only get a couple of chances before being let go like Damien Sandow, Paul Burchill, or Drew McIntyre. Others are given 3rd, 4th, 5th or even more chances to justify their roster spot. It seems a bit random at times, but it all comes down to who Vince wants on his payroll.
As most wrestlers can attest to, it often takes a few tries before something sticks. Issac Yankem and Fake Diesel didn’t do much for Glenn Jacobs, but when he landed Kane, he was set for life. However, there are some wrestlers that have continued to change their character time-and-time again throughout their career in order to find something, anything, that would work. But it didn't matter. They just didn't have “it”.
