10 Wrestlers Who Were Recklessly Dangerous

2. Ryback

His presence as a social media maniac and sort-of entrepreneur post-WWE has resulted in Ryan 'Ryback' Reeves carrying an awful lot of criticism on his broad shoulders, but those digs couldn't compare to the broadside launched at the former nearly-man by regular main roster opponent CM Punk.

Taking aim at 'The Big Guy' during the hugely controversial 'Art Of Wrestling' podcast with Colt Cabana that wound up seeing both men in court for an entirely different verbal volley, Punk laid much of the blame for his decrepit condition at the time at the feet of his former title contender. Sarcastically, Punk suggested Ryback had taken "20 years off [his] f*cking life" during their 2012 and 2013 programmes.

In a spirited rant, he detailed the extent of damage. "There was one time he kicked me in the stomach as hard he could and he broke my ribs, right at the tail end...Later, I go up to Ryan and I go, 'Hey man, clean slate. Let's f*cking kill this. Let's f*cking show them that you're better than they think you are. Let's show them I'm better than they think I am and let's turn this mid-card sh*t into a f*cking main event...first night out, Gorilla Press through a table...f*cking misses the table. Dumps me on the concrete f*cking ground. Tilts my f*cking pelvis, f*cks me up for weeks."

The worst of times.
