Angel Garza debuted on the Raw Brand on 3 February 2020 and aligned himself with Zelina Vega. He soon embarked on a feud with Rey Mysterio, in which he was able to flex his technical ability and his portrayal as a heel. Garza and Andrade, under Vega’s guide, were an exciting new tag duo. However, Andrade’s injury left Garza without a partner. He competed at his first WrestleMania, partnering with Austin Theory, as they unsuccessfully challenged for the Street Profits’ Raw Tag Team Championships.
When Andrade returned, the two had a fraught alliance which made for an interesting storyline. They continued to challenge for the Raw Tag Team Championships and became involved in the United States Championship picture but were also unsuccessful.
Garza’s position on this list is even more impressive considering he had to take time away from the ring due to an injury sustained at Clash of Champions. Upon his return he defeated Andrade in singles competition, breaking up their alliance.
