10 Wrestlers WWE Loved Burying Over & Over
1. The Ascension
If you work in WWE and JBL takes a disliking to you, then you better start thinking of other career options. The notorious bully is a massive reason for why many performers believe WWE is a toxic work environment. His horrendous antics are the stuff of HR horror stories, but these occurrences don't just happen backstage.
When the vast NXT successes The Ascension debuted on the main roster, they were instantly discredited by JBL, who angrily lambasted them for "copying" the Road Warriors. Whilst there are some valid comparisons to be made, this was an incredibly unfair judgement from Bradshaw.
That was only the start of this strange rivalry. The commentator would ruin any appearance that the pair made, verbally burying them every time they came on stage. Eventually, it turned into a group of legends coming together to absolutely squash the team. This is exemplified in the picture above.
This horrible treatment was taken by the WWE with a strangely malicious joy, as can be seen on JBLs face before he clotheslined poor Viktor into obscurity.
Although the pair would get a win or two here and there, they were buried completely, and this happened again and again every time they appeared.
