10 Wrestlers You Didn't Know Competed At Wrestle Kingdom
2. Jeff Hardy
Jeff Hardy has been a success everywhere he's gone.
He's held almost every single championship imaginable in WWE and did very well in TNA too, capturing their world title three times.
During his first reign with the belt, Hardy was part of the TNA contingent at Wrestle Kingdom V. Not only was Hardy figuratively defending the honour of his company, he was literally defending TNA's top prize at the show.
Hardy put the TNA Championship on the line in what many people would consider a dream match. Hardy defended the belt against the future leader of LIJ, Tetsuya Naito.
A Hardy-Naito match might excite wrestling fans in 2020, but it wasn't that big of a deal back in 2011.
Naito was still a long way off being the ultra-laid back "tranquilo" he is today and was still five years away from his first IWGP Heavyweight Championship reign. He was not yet the star he is today.
Still, this match is well worth a watch with the benefit of hindsight and will give any fan of either competitor a real kick.
