10 Wrestling Career Turning Points That Took Place ON AIR

1. Karrion Kross & Scarlett

Of all the Triple H 2022 returns, Karrion Kross' and Scarlett's were simultaneously the most and least surprising.

With all his skulls and darkness and earnest seriousness, Kross is the perfect wrestler for suiting Triple H's overt sensibilities. Unfortunately, 'The Game' had little input on his disastrous 2021 debut on the main roster. When that undid some of the good work and Kross was released from the company outright, the project looked completely doomed.

All until the events of this year changed just about everything.

Kross' summer return to the blue brand came at the expense of Number One Contender Drew McIntyre, bringing the former NXT Champion into Roman Reigns' field of vision too. With Scarlett back by his side and a slightly updated look, there could be no doubt about the intentions of both performers and promoters in the near future. Comebacks need conviction, and that flooded out his sneak attack - his entrance might be pitch black but his future is brighter than ever.
