6. Booker T And Goldust
Booker T and Goldust first came together after the former was unceremoniously booted out of the New World Order. Despite initially rejecting Goldust's advances, Booker eventually let The Bizarre One in and two got over with a series of sketches featuring some hilarious movie parodies.
The team were a classic mismatch with Booker constantly in shock and horror at Goldust's strange and often disturbing actions. However, over time, the pair grew to like each other just as much as the audience grew to like them.
Their popularity inevitably led the duo to challenge for the World Tag Team Championships on numerous occasions. They were unsuccessful at SummerSlam and No Mercy in 2002, but finally won the big one at Armageddon that year. Unfortunately, this feel-good moment only translated into a three-week reign for the pair.
Ultimately though, this was for the best, as Booker was being primed for a singles run against Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship. Even Goldust acknowledged this when he asked to amicably split from Booker so he could focus on his singles career.
A nice moment, but let's move on before we find out how that Booker T/Triple H feuded ended...
