Daniel Bryan hasn't exactly made a secret of his hatred for the SmackDown GM role.

Before happily announcing his return to the ring as a full-time wrestler, Bryan cut a melancholy, depressed figure when pulling on the blazer and making matches. That depression has since been eased by getting to work with guys like Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy and (next week) Samoa Joe.

In a much better place mentally than he was a few months ago, Daniel is also getting what he wants in WWE for the first time in years. That's a good thing too, especially when one learns that he bought a new house because he thought he was leaving the company.
