The early-to-mid-1990's cannot be considered a great time for the McMahon family. Not only was business down on the wrestling side of things, but Vince McMahon was locked in a legal battle against the Federal Government. Infamously, Vince was acquitted of charges related to steroid distribution.

Around that time, Jerry McDevitt became the leading legal representative for the WWF/WWE, and he has been trusted ever since. Giving a rare interview, McDevitt clued The Two Man Power Trip Of Wrestling Podcast in on Vince's mindset at the time.

Even though he was under intense pressure and being watched by scathing eyes, McMahon apparently never lost the ability to communicate with his staff.

Coming out of a meeting at WWF headquarters, McDevitt was stunned to see Vince take the time to ask a longtime janitor about his family. Previously, McMahon had installed a dialysis machine in the building, something the worker needed around him at all times.

Despite the stress and overhanging threat to his company, the lawyer says Vince McMahon never let it stop him from caring for his staff.
