The pro wrestling world came together last week to mourn the death of Joanie 'Chyna' Laurer. On Monday Night Raw, WWE opened the show with a graphic, and even released a tribute video package to one of their most important female performers.

Calls for Chyna to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame are now louder than ever.

This isn't something that sits well with Steve Austin. On his own podcast, Austin became audibly emotional when discussing the passing of his friend. There were cracks in the man's voice as he told stories about Chyna, but then his attention turned to the idea of her being entered into the Hall Of Fame.

In Austin's mind, it would seem a little crass to induct Chyna without her being there to accept. The woman lobbied for years to be inducted, but WWE always resisted due to her unsavoury departure and subsequent personal problems.

The fact she worked in the porn industry didn't help the promotion change their view on the matter.

Austin isn't afraid to speak his mind, and whilst he'd like his friend to be honoured, he's unsure whether or not it's a good idea now that she has passed.
