Currently a trainer and talent scout for the promotion, William Regal's in-ring tenure as part of WWE seems to have come to an end. At 47 years of age, the Englishman's best days are behind him, but it's clear he still has a lot to offer the company and wrestling business as a whole.

Injury problems have been a source of frustration for Regal since he signed on with the then-WWF again in 2000. His previous short stint at the tail end of the 90's had been riddled with drug and self-confidence issues. Even up to 2008, when it seemed he was headed for a big push as 'King Of The Ring', Regal's body let him down.

As if cut from the same machine-like cloth of Vince McMahon, William Regal used to only manage around 3 hours of sleep per night. Unlike McMahon, it was pain which kept the guy awake. Thankfully, he was able to rectify this by undergoing surgery on his neck, but that lack of sleep can't have been healthy. This little tidbit is something the grappler has kept hidden until recently.
