In many respects, Braun Strowman is the natural successor to WWE big men like Kane, The Undertaker and Big Show. It's understandable then that Braun looks up to those men. On Booker T's Heated Conversations podcast, Strowman told of the close-knit relationship he has shared with Show since they worked together heavily last year.

Or, should that be dad?

As bizarre a thought as it is, Braun jokingly refers to Show as his "wrestling dad" whenever he bumps into him backstage at shows. Playing his own part in this fantasy, Show has been known to slap Strowman over the head like an irate father whenever he does something stupid.

That's why Braun came up with the joke. To him, Show's experience is invaluable, and he realises that he's bound to make mistakes every now and then. Still, Big Show is one of the only people on the planet we can imagine getting away with a quick slap to Braun's head.
