Charlotte Flair's success in WWE is something nobody could have predicted when the doting daughter emotionally embraced her father around ringside after his 'retirement' at WrestleMania XXIV. Then a non-wrestler, the offspring to one of wrestling's true greats has gone on to carve her own path in the decade since.

This week, it was revealed that Charlotte has made more history in WWE, and it's a surprising statistic few would realise without the company pointing it out.

Joining that stat, there are facts about the likes of Bill Goldberg, Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio and John Cena. There's also a poignant story about forgiveness and a chance meeting between Vince McMahon and a former WWF Women's Champion that led to tears.

Let's look at the facts...

Dean Ambrose and Renee Young were recently under the microscope on social media because of visible wedding bands both were wearing on WWE television. Speaking with E! Online this week, Renee revealed that the lovers had secretly been married during a spontaneous ceremony in Las Vegas late last year.

Just after Ambrose had wrestled on a SmackDown show and the couple were going to bed in their Vegas hotel room, they decided to jump onto Yelp and seek out someone who would marry them quickly. Hilariously, the pastor who did answer their call believed the husband and wife to be were drunk, because they had put out the message at 1am.

Young laughed as she recalled questions like, "Have you been drinking?" and, "What's happening?" from Pastor Pete. Eventually, he did come round to the WWE couple's hotel room, but not before Ambrose and Young had to wake a mutual friend and ask them to be a legal witness to the marriage.

From there, the ceremony went quickly and the pair were hitched without the world even knowing about it.
