At Roadblock: End Of The Line on December 18, Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair will engage in WWE's first ever main roster female Iron Man Match. Although the title of the bout will likely be changed to 'Iron Woman' before the pay-per-view, this is still a huge moment for women's wrestling in the company.

This week, the Wrestling Observer reported that Banks and Flair actually wanted a different kind of match come Roadblock. Apparently, both women favoured a Ladder Match on the pay-per-view, something that was probably nixed due to SmackDown's own TLC event this past Sunday.

The Observer also stated that WWE were considering a Steel Cage encounter for the show. That one is harder to believe, simply because such a match would have felt like a comedown following October's epic Hell In A Cell affair. The Ladder stipulation is much more plausible.

There's little doubt that Sasha and Charlotte will make the most of the Iron Man idea come Roadblock, however it is interesting to learn that they pitched other things to WWE management.
