1. Jerry Lawler Went Rogue With His 'Puppies' Comment

If that 'Puppies' remark by Jerry Lawler at Raw 25 felt out of place, that's because it was. WWE have moved on from the days of fawning over breasts and using women as mere eye candy, but Lawler said on his Dinner With The King podcast that wanted to temporarily turn the clock back during his Manhattan Center appearance.

WWE were not happy.

Lawler told Jim Ross during a commercial break that he was going to use his old catchphrase. Knowing Ross would be hesitant, 'The King' said JR should chastise him and quickly move on. That's what happened, and it led to a ticking off for Lawler through his headset.

The word from backstage to Jerry was simple. He was to refrain from using the word again. Maybe Lawler was just bored by having so little to do in Manhattan compared to what was going on at Barclays Center.
