10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (May 22)
5. Scott Hall Relapses?
Another wrestling personality who has experienced his fair share of personal demons is Scott Hall. Once one of the biggest stars in the industry, both as Razor Ramon and as part of the original nWo, Hall is a self-confessed alcoholic, an addiction which has landed him in hot water on more than one occasion. In recent years, Hall had turned his life around with the help of his good buddy Diamond Dallas Page. Embracing a lifestyle which was cleaner, healthier and revolving around DDP Yoga, the man seemed to be on the right track, but footage released this past week seems to suggest that he relapsed back into abusing alcohol. Set to appear on an independent wrestling show, Hall was visibly drunk when he took to the mic, and was thus ushered backstage and pulled from the event. The video footage shows him chatting with a staff member, possibly the event's promoter, before walking off into the distance. Recent news suggests Hall wasn't paid for his appearance, and that he was given some beers by a band who were playing nearby.
