Who You Think Created It: WWE's writing team.

Who Actually Created It: Sasha Banks crafted her new NXT persona in 2013 with serious help from an unlikely source: Snoop Dogg. The pair are cousins, and Sasha spent enough time around the rapper to see that his entourage always called him 'The Boss'. That's when a lightbulb went off in Banks' head.

She started calling herself WWE's 'Legit Boss' from then on.

This was 100% inspired by Snoop. Sasha realised that branding was important, which is something she hadn't been all that concerned about before; Banks was more worried about improving her ring skills and striving for in-ring minutes. Thanks to her cousin, she spotted the chance to rebrand herself and get a proper gimmick.
