10 Wrestling Legends That Would Never Be Pushed In WWE 2015
10. Adrian Adonis
By 1986, Adrian Adonis' weight had skyrocketed from the 270 pound range to somewhere above 320 pounds. Adonis was a singles and tag team specialist throughout his career, but it was as a plus-sized and effeminate tough-guy heel working Roddy Piper at 1987's Wrestlemania III where he arguably had his greatest success. There are those who believe that Adonis was given this gimmick in order to punish him for his weight gain. While that may be true, Adonis being a crafty enough worker to get enough heat to be Roddy Piper's "retirement" opponent is still significant. In a case of size not mattering, Adonis "overcame" his weight issues and excelled as a top WWF star. In 2015, it's likely he would've never even been considered for that golden opportunity.
