Before locking up with Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley on Raw in December, Alpha Academy's Maxxine Dupri had wrestled a grand total of ONE televised singles match.

Even if you want to add in the 26-year-old's appearances in various tag contests, she still hadn't broke double figures inside of a WWE ring.

So, why anyone actually thought putting her in a high pressure singles situation opposite The Judgment Day's 'Mami' would be a wise idea at this stage in her development is a mystery.

What followed was easily Ripley's worst match of her entire run as champ and a bout that likely did more damage than good for the poor Dupri.

Despite the fight only lasting two minutes, a Maxxine who had sporadically impressed opposite the likes of Valhalla awkwardly struggled to get up for a powerbomb, execute a hurricanrana, and take the champ's Riptide finisher during the uncomfortable squash.

Getting some reps in with some of the most talented women on the roster isn't exactly a terrible idea. But having Dupri learn these painful lessons on live television was a foolish and quite unnecessary bit of booking from 'Papa H'.
