10 Wrestling Matches We Need To See On AEW TV
8. Private Party Vs. LAX
Santana and Ortiz had a brilliant surprise debut at All Out, and have clearly proven they will be a force in AEW. Taking out the top of the tag division in Lucha Bros and The Young Bucks, it was a clear statement as to what to expect from them going forward.
AEW will want to continue that momentum right through their first show on TNT. Due to their wins and losses records it is highly unlikely we will see them run through enhancement talent such as WWE do now. Not that the company would have copied that rather awful trend anyway.
This limits your options on how to show a team as dominant. But a great choice is to utilize the up-and-coming Private Party. Coming off a win at All Out, the wrestling world witnessed an excellent showcase of their abilities. Add a valiant losing effort to the dominant Ortiz and Santana and this could lead to both sides going over.
The teams actually have some history together on a much smaller stage against one another for Limitless Wrestling back in 2016. It was called No Dropkicks In The Living Room and was performed at American Legion Post 84 in front of under 200 people. Safe to say TNT television will be a more suitable spot for a rematch at this point.
