When Chris Benoit's USA work visa finally renewed after his spell in ECW was cut short, he wrestled a series of tantalising tryouts for WWF. The Crippler showcased his talents opposite Bob Holly, Adam Bomb, and most mouthwateringly, Owen Hart. Most bizarrely, the fresh-faced Benoit was an honorary member of Ted DiBiase's Million Dollar Corporation during his Stamford screentest. In the end, WWF decided the Canadian wasn't as good as the likes of Mantaur and Sir Mo, and he resumed duties in Atlanta.
