Once released from WWE, Drew McIntyre went back home to Scotland and Insane Championship Wrestling, and we re-discovered Drew Galloway. Moreso than his run as McIntyre, Galloway is a wrestler who's likely just a few years of seasoning away from truly being the main event performer he was miscast as being during his initial WWE run. So much of Galloway's non-WWE run feels predicated on proving to WWE that he's ready for a return. His presentation, physical charisma and matches all show the earmarkings of a wrestler who really wants more from WWE than to be a one-time "Chosen One" who ended up playing second-fiddle in a "3 Man Band."
