10 Wrestling Talents That Were Immediately Buried By WWE
Before The Ascension, they were these unfortunates...
A week ago on Raw, new tag team The Ascension was destroyed by washed up wrestlers like the nWo, the APA, and the New Age Outlaws. It was the latest in what has thus far been a lackluster debut for Konnor and Victor. Prior to their WWE debut, The Ascension was the most dominant tag team in NXT, holding the Tag Team titles for nearly a year. Their stock is trending upward after defeating the New Age Outlaws at the Royal Rumble Pay Per View, but it was only the first sign of life after being buried by the announcers upon their debut. Now, it seems like they throw these newbies in the deep end and expect them to swim while figuratively sending sharks at them, the sharks in this case being commentary that puts them down. Its not the first time that WWE has taken established talents in other promotions and buried them to the point where they did not replicate the success they had elsewhere. Time will tell if The Ascension finds themselves among the top talents on this list, but here are the Top 10 talents that were buried by the WWE.
