10 WWE Attitude Era Moments That Sucked
Think the Attitude Era was perfect when it comes to wrestling excellence? Think again.
It's inevitable, ladies and gentlemen... whenever you discuss the current professional wrestling product with people on the internet, someone will eventually come along and pine for the days of the Attitude Era. They'll talk about how wrestling has gotten "boring" now that it is "for the kids", and they'll say that WWE needs to drop the TV-PG rating if they want to become a huge success again. According to these people, the Attitude Era could basically do no wrong. Everything was just amazing, from the wrestlers to the characters to the matches, and all in between. Of course, that isn't the case. That isn't to say there weren't some fantastic moments during the time. However, the era has been overrated through the years as people continue to look back wearing rose-colored glasses and get caught up in the fact that they (most of them, anyway) were relatively young when the product was happening. In most cases, it was their first exposure to wrestling of any kind. This article will be looking back at some of the moments on the opposite end of the scale from things like Austin VS McMahon, the rise of The Rock, Degeneration X, and Goldust pushing the envelope. This will look back at some of the worst, and downright dumbest, moments that the Attitude Era had to offer. Try not to get too upset, wrestling historians.
