10 WWE Decisions That Enraged The IWC

1. Brock Lesnar Beats The Streak

Ending The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak was always going to cause controversy, no matter who had the honour.

It was an integral component of ‘The Deadman’s’ incredible legacy, and without it, it’s hard to imagine him ever becoming the transcendent icon he is today. Thus, many fans felt that ‘Taker should have gone undefeated at ‘Mania until retirement, keeping his record unspoiled, and leaving him with a perfect accomplishment to hang his career on.

All WWE records are made to eventually be broken, however. The company are obsessed with “making history” and “creating moments,” and in having Brock Lesnar become the 1 in 21-1, that’s exactly what they did.

The reaction was loud and divisive. Shock washed over the arena, creating memes out of stunned audience members, and the internet was mad. Very mad…

The reaction never truly dissipated, and there are plenty of fans who still believe that Lesnar beating ‘Taker was one of the most egregious decisions WWE have ever made.

‘The Deadman’s’ next loss to Roman Reigns provoked a similar reaction earlier this year, but it couldn’t match the outrage that boiled over in the wake of The Streak’s demise.
