Say what you will of Brock Lesnar's commitment to Vince McMahon's company or giving the people what they want in general, but there's no questioning the fact that The Beast Incarnate has a habit of pulling out all of the stops when lined up opposite the right dance partner; specifically someone who can bump like an absolute lunatic.

Evidenced in his instant bangers against the likes of Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, and Finn Balor in recent times, the reveal that none other than WWE's resident piece of elastic Ricochet would be stepping up to the former UFC Heavyweight Champion next, after helping Drew McIntyre eliminate him from the 2020 Royal Rumble and seeing off Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley on Raw, was enough to leave everyone salivating.

Sadly though, Lesnar (or more likely, Vinnie Mac) just wasn't in the mood to play ball on the night and instead of the sort of WWE Championship dream match come to life display of both men's freakish athleticism expected, Slick Rick was given a quick one-way ticket to Suplex City at Super ShowDown and dumped on the pile of victims Brock has assembled over the years.

What a waste.
