The gear of wrestlers is definitely a new question. It's definitely one of those things that is up to the wrestler. Trunks seem to be the most popular, but pants (or tights) are the ones that look the coolest. There's a part in Chris Jericho's book where he talked about how he turned heel in the spring of 2008 and he decided to transition from wearing long tights to putting on trunks. Nobody told him to do it. He just wanted to do it because he wanted to change things up since he was going from a face role to a heel. It all depends on what the individual wrestler feels comfortable with. From a comfort standpoint, the trunks are probably the best because it's not as hot as wearing tights. However, some guys are less reluctant to show off that much of their bodies. It's all up to each guy. If we're talking about diva gear, three of my favorites were Trish Stratus, Melina and Mickie James. The mid-2000s were a good time.
