10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (July 7th)
5. Of All The Stars Whose Careers Were Cut Short By Injury, Who Would Have Gone Furthest?
This question comes from our very own esteemed video editor (and fellow Pacitti Club member) Sam Driver. He wonders who would have gone furthest had their career not been cut short by injury.
It's an intriguing question, and one which is very hard to answer. The most high-profile fallen superstars already raised their stock to great heights before being forced to retire - men such as Steve Austin, Edge and Daniel Bryan.
However, Bryan is probably my answer. Despite achieving so much on the independent scene, and securing perhaps the ultimate WrestleMania moment in 2014, he could have gone on to achieve so much more. He's still only 35, after all.
Resident wrestling editor - and former pro wrestler - Lewis Howse has kindly provided a couple of answers regarding superstars whose careers were ended before they'd really started. After gaining experience, he reckons Matt Cappotelli and Christopher Nowinski would have both gone on to do good things.
