4. Is The Miz Cheating To Retain The IC Title Good Or Bad For The Belt's Prestige?

I'm not sure that he's cheating to hold onto the title, he's taking on Edge's ultimate opportunist schtick. However, whatever he's doing it's great. Miz doing anything he can to keep his mitts on the belt is only going to make it feel that tad more important.
What I don't understand is why WWE have put the title on Mizzles now. There's no doubting that introducing Maryse is producing his best work, like, ever; but he's off to film The Marine 5 now and will be missing from the ring for several weeks.
Oh yeah, let's give the title to someone and then allow him to jaunt off around the world filming a movie absolutely nobody will watch... way to inject some importance into arguably the most bewildered title in WWE today.
Who thought this one through? Facebook videos of Miz reminding us he's champ from set won't do any good for the belt itself.
That belt should be the working wrestler's championship - on television every week with a few Superstars doing their upmost to make it theirs in an endless string of five-star matches.
