From @lastmanoftruth: Do you think NXT will always stay on the WWE Network as a selling point or will it become so big that the money is too good not to put it on a major network?
Great question. As you mentioned, keeping NXT on WWE Network is something that WWE probably wants to do because it's a reason why people have the network. It's not really making them money, though, so that's why they have to be willing to consider other options too. The other possibility is if some TV network were to offer WWE money and it was some substantial amount that would help the company then they have to consider it. Turning down money is foolish, but they also have to think about growing the network with live content too. As long as they can afford it they should keep it as a WWE Network exclusive show because it's more appealing to the consumer. Putting it on some TV channel might expand its reach a bit, but it's likely not going to be some big difference maker for them. In other words, they're not going to get Raw or Smackdown money for it. A lot of fans like NXT the way it is and any change to it could hurt the fanbase. Those of us that watch it know it's WWE's best show even though they barely promote it on Raw or Smackdown for reasons that confuse many of us.
