9. Have WWE Gone Overboard With Three Traditional Survivor Series Matches?
Jamie asks if WWE have gone over the top by announcing three traditional Survivor Series matches, but I have to disagree. For whatever reason, the promotion's second-oldest regular pay per view has seen several falls in relevance over the years, with one of the most unique match-types of the calendar year often reduced to midcard fodder.
I like that this year's card will be dominated by such matches, and the Raw vs. SmackDown theme adds a further dynamic.
However, I will concede that the build to this bouts has been very tedious. While I'm looking forward to the contests themselves, I also can't wait for normal service to resume, and for our regular storylines to continue.
