10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (Oct 13)

'How would you rate the New Era so far?'

Goldberg questions
WWE.com

One man dominated this week's WWE questions, and it shouldn't take too many guesses to work out who. On Monday night, Paul Heyman announced that he and Brock Lesnar were awaiting the arrival of Goldberg, which surely indicates a planned rematch of their widely-hated encounter at WrestleMania XX. Who will win their second clash, and how will the WCW be booked generall?

However, the Goldberg wasn't the only figure to grab headlines this week. We also tackle the future of The Miz, who (alongside Dolph Ziggler) has recently wowed audiences with an excellent series of pay per view matches. He, of course, lost the Intercontinental Championship at No Mercy - but could more grandiose things lie ahead?

Elsewhere on the agenda, we tackle NXT standouts Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura (I feel like I've sold the pair slightly short with that description, given their storied careers so far), as well as AJ Styles, John Cena, and the entire 'New Era' itself.

Adam Blampied has also cropped up with a typically ludicrous question, one which I'll endeavour to answer as best I can.

10. How Should WWE Book Goldberg?

This is a tricky one, as it's hard for me to personally get excited about Goldberg's return. He and Lesnar clearly lacked motivation a decade ago, and Brock isn't exactly renowned for his passion for the business these days either.

Goldberg, for his part, hasn't wrestled for 12 years, and it's hard to see this match being a good one. I hope WWE keep things simple, build the match as a grudge bout over a decade in the making, and put over whoever they're going to (probably Brock) with minimal fuss.

Sorry to give such a skeptical answer, but I don't agree with the idea of the rematch itself.
