10 WWE Releases That Made Absolutely No Sense

8. Sarah Logan

Another Black Wednesday release which made very little sense from the moment it was revealed, and still seems strange to this day, came in the form of the sudden departure of former Riott Squad member Sarah Logan.

Though Logan admittedly hadn't exactly been presented as a future Raw Women's Championship contender at the point of her release, she did still have a distinct Viking-inspired character which could have led to her eventually linking up with the Viking Raiders - a team which contains her real life husband Erik - or even ripping her way through the Women's division. At the very least she was a reliable body who could make other top stars look like absolute badasses.

But, literal days after she was completely massacred by a p*ssed off Shayna Baszler, Logan was unceremoniously given the boot.

Though WWE definitely have a decent number of top quality women stars on the main roster at this moment in time, their decision to let go of a young tried and tested performer like Logan immediately looked like a foolish one.

Don't be surprised if the company try to re-sign the wrestler after she's welcomed her and Erik's first child into the world, because, at just 26 years of age, Logan still has plenty of time to show her worth in WWE or perhaps another wrestling promotion...
