10 WWE Stars Already Having A Terrible 2018

1. Paige

When Paige returned to lead Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville into battle as Absolution last November, it looked a dead cert that she'd play a major role come WrestleMania. Those dreams have been shattered by the news that she may never be cleared to work inside a WWE ring ever again.

This bombshell has ruined Paige's grand comeback and destroyed hopes she'd work singles matches against women who have pinned down the female ranks during her time away. Overnight, matches with Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Asuka and more have gone up in smoke. It's depressing to realise that Paige last worked on pay-per-view way back at 'Mania 32 in 2016.

Now her WWE in-ring career looks over, Paige will either have to suck it up and take on non-wrestling roles (like Daniel Bryan) or retreat to the independent circuit and work there. The Brit's 2018 is off to the worst possible start.
