Welp. If Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair and a Shield reunion isn't going to lift Raw's ratings, it might be time to think about other things that feasibly could. I mean, the idea of a wholesale overhaul of how both WWE creative and WWE as a company envision pro wrestling as a core component of "sports entertainment" is what the *actual* answer to the company's problems would be, but that's likely not happening. Instead, let's think about the solution of bringing back some key players from say...2005. 2005? Yes, 2005. Whereas WWE's roster a decade ago seemed like a mishmash of bizarre parts that made for an oftentimes difficult-to-watch whole, in 2015, the parts of that whole that are still active and performing at a high level actually deserve a shot at being stars in the company right now. While some of these names are obvious, there are others that, while not so obvious would actually be an invaluable assist in enhancing WWE at-present. While 2005 was not necessarily one of WWE's banner years, as a 12 month period, it was certainly better from a ratings and financial standpoint than 2015.
