10 WWE Stars Undertaker Failed To Elevate To The Next Level
10. Mabel/Viscera/Big Daddy V
Vince's decision to give Nelson Frazier Jr. multiple pushes as a major threat failed on each attempt. The main reason for this was that he was the wrong kind of huge; instead of a chiseled physique and large muscles, he was incredibly fat and, when he started wearing a singlet as Big Daddy V, his horrible physique was exposed. If there was ever a reason for people to believe that wrestlers lived unhealthy lives, it was seeing Big Daddy V. WWE tried to elevate him as a credible star by putting him with the Undertaker on several occasions. First, as 'King' Mabel, which ended with the Undertaker suffering a broken orbital bone. Then as Viscera, although by the end of that storyline he ended up as nothing more than a background character. Finally as Big Daddy V, a mercenary for hire that we were expected to believe could harm the Undertaker. Unfortunately, his career ended up being a disappointment. No matter how many times he was thrust into prominent storylines versus such opponents as the Undertaker, Frazier never caught on with the audience. Whatever the reason for it, not even the Undertaker could use his own star power to make Viscera and his other incarnations seem like bigger stars.
