10 WWE Stars Who Have Gone AWOL

Injuries and pregnancies are one thing, but where are THESE absent WWE wrestlers?

Please note, currently injured workers like Sheamus, Braun Strowman, Liv Morgan and Sonya Deville won't be featured here. Their status is clear, and they're all either awaiting surgery or recovering from going under the knife for various issues. Similarly, stars on maternity leave like Alexa Bliss and Carmella won't get the in-depth treatment.

They'll be back once they're good and ready post-pregnancy, because becoming a mother is a massive responsibility and honestly takes priority over doing their thing on Raw and SmackDown.

So, with that out of the way, who qualifies? In short, talents on the main roster who have vanished from screens and nobody's actually sure why. Yes, a few will be back during WrestleMania season (can't miss out on those all important paydays!), but others find themselves floating between catering and the dark match/house show grind.

There's a good handful who were moved during the 2023 Draft but just haven't been utilised properly yet. Will they ever be? That's a great question, 'cause it's fairly obvious that WWE creative has nothing for them right now.

Here are the folks currently in limbo, and what might be next for them.

10. Odyssey Jones

This is a weird one.

Odyssey Jones was moved from NXT to Raw as part of the 2023 Draft on 1 May. Since then, he's worked exactly zero bouts on the flagship show. In fact, Jones has only wrestled a shockingly low seven matches since being drafted. Fans are beginning to wonder what the point was, and rightly so.

Where is the guy, and why hasn't be debuted on Raw yet? Triple H's creative team can't have anything worthwhile for Jones to do, but surely they had some ideas for him before including the ex-NXT man in the Draft at all. Or, maybe they didn't and he was only there to make up the numbers.

That's what it looks like to fans looking in, because right now Jones is a wasted Draft pick. Sure, the WWE Draft means little once it's over anyway, but Odyssey better show up soon or he might be named the most pointless brand jump ever.
