10 WWE Stars Who Have Gone AWOL

1. Rusev & Lana

When he's not busy growing a sweet, sweet moustache that Cody Rhodes would be proud of, Rusev is busting his ass in the gym like usual and keeping himself ready for whatever WWE have in store. Nope, there's still no news on exactly when 'Rusev Day' will dawn again and the imposing Bulgarian will bounce back onto the scene with Lana.

They're on a self-imposed break from WWE activity.

This, in the long-term, could be the best choice they've made. One thing's clear in the short-term: Rusev is leaving some merch dollars on the table by taking himself off TV, and WWE can't be happy about that. They're to blame though, not least because their management of someone long-considered a future World Champ has been rotten for years.

Rusev and Lana are likely AWOL 'cause they're sick of doing nothing meaningful and being a constant afterthought in the queue for pushes, ideas and consistent booking. Come back, Ru-Ru. Your adoring public misses you.
