10 WWE Stars Who Will Get Lost In The Shuffle Before WrestleMania 36

5. Mustafa Ali

Had Mustafa Ali not been on the receiving end of an ill-timed injury around WrestleMania season last year, we could possibly be talking about his conquering of Daniel Bryan to become WWE Champion for the first time - instead of Kofi Kingston's euphoric moment at 'Mania 35.

That's how quickly your fortunes can change in an industry where momentum is so often everything and Ali has still struggled to get himself back into the incredible position he found himself in at the start of 2019.

The rest of the year hasn't been all bad for Ali - apart from losing his first name.

He enjoyed a decent showing in the Money in the Bank ladder match and even looked as though he was about to become Mr. MITB, before Brock Lesnar crashed the party. Failed attempts to win the Intercontinental title and become King of the Ring followed, before he also found himself on Team Hogan and Team SmackDown at Crown Jewel and Survivor Series, respectively.

The former 205 live starlet doesn't look as though he is being touted for a big push come 'Mania 36 and it looks as though the best case scenario for the newly renamed Mustafa Ali would be a place in a spot-heavy ladder match on the Grandest Stage.
