10 WWE Stars You Didn't Know Started As Part Of The New Generation
I thought I've seen you somewhere before!
If there's one thing Vince McMahon and the rest of WWE management have always been good at, it's building up their own talent pool. For example, the major factor in WWE winning the Monday Night Wars was that Eric Bischoff didn't know how to build a character from scratch. He would simply poach from the talent that Vince had already developed. But this method for developing young superstars was in place well before the Monday Night Wars began. In fact, if you go back and look at old matches from any era with a keen enough eye, you'll see more than a few fresh-faced wrestlers that no one knew at the time, but who would go on to become huge stars in WWE a few years (or even decades) later. Perhaps no period in the WWE showcases the breadth of soon-to-be famous talent than the New Generation. Although it's often ragged on for being a low point as far as the company's roster is concerned, it was at least a jumping off point for a gaggle of future superstars.
