10 WWE Superstars Who Would Have Benefited Most From Ending The Streak
7. Sheamus
Love him or hate him, Sheamus has been directionless since his return. He returned at the Rumble and then faded to the background. A TV feud with Christian doesn't count, and neither does a standalone entrance for the battle royal at WrestleMania. When he's focused and busy kicking ass (and not being a John Cena-lite), Sheamus is one of the best. A WrestleMania win over Undertaker would have crystalized his standing in the company. If they're still so high on him, he needs a high-profile feud and win, and there would have been none bigger.
Scott is a former journalist and longtime wrestling fan who was smart enough to abandon WCW during the Monday Night Wars the same time as the Radicalz. He fondly remembers watching WrestleMania III, IV, V and VI and Saturday Night's Main Event, came back to wrestling during the Attitude Era, and has been a consumer of sports entertainment since then. He's written for WhatCulture for more than a decade, establishing the Ups and Downs articles for WWE Raw and WWE PPVs/PLEs and composing pieces on a variety of topics.
