10 WWE Superstars Who Could Call Themselves "Mr Summerslam"

9. Montel Vontavious Porter

WWE.comWWE.comThe only man on this list that can say that he is undefeated at Summerslam is MVP himself, Montel Vontavious Porter. Granted he€™s only had two matches at the event, but they were both against future World Champions. In 2008 MVP scored a pinfall victory over Jeff Hardy. This may not seem like a big deal, but the fact is that Jeff Hardy is a very accomplished WWE Superstar. Jeff has been World and WWE Champion, Intercontinental Champion, a multiple time Tag Team Champion, and I haven€™t even gotten into his reigns as Light Heavyweight and Hardcore Champion. Jeff Hardy has done just about everything there is to do in a WWE ring, and MVP beat him at one of the WWE€™s premier events. The very next year, MVP would defeat Jack Swagger, a future Mr. Money in the Bank and World Heavyweight Champion, in less than seven minutes. It was a dominating performance against a guy who would go on to be one of the top guys in the WWE (before falling back down the card upon losing the World Title). As it stands, MVP is undefeated at Summerslam and defeated World Champions in his two Summerslam bouts. While not the strongest case, he is without question in the conversation for Mr. Summerslam on record alone.
