10 WWE Superstars John Cena Has Put Over
1. AJ Styles
AJ Styles spent years on the independent circuit honing his craft. He was Mr. TNA after a decade-plus stint with the company. He also had great spells with other promotions such as Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. This eventually led him to WWE. His main event push started after WrestleMania 31. He feuded with Roman Reigns over the WWE Championship for a few months but the end of that programme saw the coming of a rivalry that would change the landscape of professional wrestling.
Mr. TNA met Mr. WWE, as John Cena and AJ Styles were put on a collision course. After a six-man tag at Battleground 2016, Styles and Cena met one-on-one at Money in the Bank 2016, where AJ beat Cena, after interference from The Club. They met again at SummerSlam 2016 where AJ Styles beat John Cena clean and became one of the biggest stars in the company overnight. Styles became the WWE Champion soon enough, losing the belt later to Cena in a tremendous match at Royal Rumble 2017.
Styles is now one of the most dependable hands in WWE, and is in the middle of a strong reign as WWE Champion. Cena's rub certainly didn't harm.
