10 WWE Superstars Who Must Retire In 2015

8. Mark Henry

Last year, Mark Henry did something very difficult in today€™s wrestling word, he managed to trick the fans. After teasing retirement on social media, Henry delivered an emotional speech confirming he was stepping down, before revealing it as a ruse in order to attack John Cena. While this retirement was a ploy, it made a lot of fans realise how much they love and will miss Henry. He€™s been with the WWE since 1996, and has been involved in numerous fan favourite angles, from Sexual Chocolate and Mae Young€™s baby, to his devastating Hall of Pain run from the 2010s. At forty-three years old, the injuries have slowly been piling up for Henry, and it seems he€™s only ever around for a few months before having to take time away to heal up. It€™s at this point that an athlete needs to listen to his body and slow down before any real damage occurs. If Henry were to retire, he could still offer so much to the business and after nearly twenty years in the business, he€™d be invaluable as either a backstage agent or down at the Performance Center. He€™s also really come into his own as one of the most entertaining men on the microphone, and his insight would be welcome on one of WWE€™s pre-shows, or even a more permanent place on commentary.
