10 WWE Superstars Who Will Leave In 2016

6. Fandango

Another character that is deader than death, saving a complete overhaul Fandango will also find himself gone from the WWE in 2016. Johnny Curtis is one hell of a talent however, and similar to Hunico should have no problem finding work outside the confines of World Wrestling Entertainment, It could have been so different for Fandango. After making his in-ring debut with a victory over Chris Jericho at WrestleMania, his popularity immediately sky-rocketed thanks the barmy post-WrestleMania RAW crowd. His theme tune became a cult hit, reaching as high as number 11 in the UK charts at one time, and he was bizarrely one of the most over characters on the show. Booked to win the Intercontinental Championship from Wade Barrett, Fandango suffered a concussion at the hands of Zack Ryder and was removed from the match. His replacement, Curtis Axel, would go on to win the title. Whilst Axel hasn't exactly set the world alight himself, it is impossible to say what might have happened with Fandango had he not suffered the concussion when he did.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
