10 WWE Title Moments You DEFINITELY Can’t Remember
1. Fabulous Moolah Challenges Big Show
The 28 November 2002 SmackDown teased one of the wildest WWE Title matches ever. GM Stephanie McMahon suspended Brock Lesnar, but told Big Show he'd have to defend his belt against someone who'd been a decorated champion throughout their career. Not one soul in South Carolina thought she was talking about the Fabulous Moolah.
WWE ran both parties to the ring and called for the bell anyway.
Moolah crumbled when standing across the ring from Show, which was hilarious because she was all high fives and smiles when walking down the hallway backstage. What? Did Stephanie neglect to tell this pensioner that she'd be in there wrestling a giant? What a time to be alive. Paul Heyman found the whole thing funny himself.
Side by side footage of a beaming Moolah and angry Show walking down respective hallways is absurd. Naturally, WWE had outlaw Brock run in to spare this ex-Women's Champ from taking a chokeslam that might've turned her bones to dust. No amount of Heyman pretending Moolah was Brock (?!) could hurry Show up.
