10 WWE Wrestlers HYPED Vince McMahon Is Gone

1. Sasha Banks

While it's hard to draw concrete conclusions from the line of reporting on Sasha Banks' current situation, most accept that, at the very least, she was trying to get out of her WWE contract.

Reports that she was actually gone from the promotion outright were quickly tempered, though most outlets heard she was looking to engineer an exit. Some considered it a near inevitability. Others painted the picture of a difficult, complex process, with Sasha's lawyers getting involved.

Now, it seems Banks and tag team partner Naomi are on their way back to WWE almost three months after walking out on a Raw taping. This would not have happened under Vince McMahon.

Should Triple H bring them back, it will stand as another example of the huge, damaging hindrance McMahon had become to his promotion. From a talent relations standpoint, the 76-year-old was poison. John Laurinaitis may have been the last person to occupy that role, but he was a fall guy for the CEO and Chairman, whose actions prompted Naomi and Banks to decide they'd had enough.

Without Vince, there's a pathway back to WWE.
