10 WWE Wrestlers Randy Orton Has Never Faced One-On-One

Much has been written and said about how WWE shortchanged and misused Andrade during his time on the main roster.

You can definitely see that in how poorly booked the luchador was, and how he floundered in midcard feuds rather than being elevated against top-level wrestlers. The fact that Andrade and Randy Orton were on the same brand the entire time he was on the main roster and never faced each other one-on-one is a great example of this poor booking.

For all the rightful derision about Orton being… well, less than interesting at times, he’s proven to be quite capable of having good-to-really good matches against wrestlers with different styles. Imagine a Raw main event pitting Andrade against Orton (even during the pandemic) with Randy just out to decimate anyone, and El Idolo in the crosshairs, even with both as heels. It could have been stellar and put a spotlight on the struggling Mexican superstar.

Instead, all we got over the course of three years were two teams teaming together and two multi-man matches (including a Money in the Bank ladder match) and a Royal Rumble match.
